Digital Davao goes to Mindanao Cyber Expo 2015. The biggest gathering of computer enthusiasts, gamers and fanatics in Mindanao, culminated at the Annex of SM City Davao. Formerly known as the Davao Cyber Expo (DCE), has grown into a festive event which is now celebrate all over the Mindanao Island of the Philippines. Top Computer brands sponsor the event, namely ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte and Kingston.
Davaoeños were treated with many goodies by the sponsors of the event, there were sign up raffles, shirt, lanyard, pens, card holder giveaways and free play on some stations in the event. Crowd gathered around the stage each time ASUS gives some trivial questions for the audience to answer in exchange for some loots. Mindanao Cyber Expo won’t be complete without the presence of PRETTY & HOT Boothbabes.
Into the 3rd day of the Mindanao Cyber Expo 2015, a wave of Cosplayers rushed to the event. The young generation of Cosplayers filled up the SM City Davao, Annex with color and fun. Photos were taken from everywhere by almost everyone who saw their favorite characters being portrayed. A contest by Ambox and it’s partners was one of the big draws to the event. In-game, anime and marvel characters where well represented. Here are some of the cosplayers in the event.
Dota 2 Tournament was part of the festivities. Dota 2 player from Davao, flock to the SM City Annex to witness the clash of the best teams in the city. The event was sponsored by SEQUELSPORTS.
Loot items, Giveaways and Selfies with the boothbabes were just appetizers for this event. We really go to this great event because of the display of the best of the best machines in the Mindanao Island. Small form factor / ITX build, Mid-Tower and Full-Tower builds and thrown-in a custom build on the mix, to have a computer build buffet that will surely get you thinking “I wanna do what they’re doing”.
