ASUS Philippines, conducts the ASUS Zenfestival 2015 – Davao Fan Gathering at Rekado restaurant. Asus once again establishes their connection with their loyal patrons, treating the Zenfone Davao community in an afternoon filled with food, learning, prizes and fun. Asus was quick to notice Rekado, a fresh new resto of the metro as its event location. Zenites /Zenfone fans were invited to the event through the Asus Zentalk forum.
The festivities kicked-off with the registration for all participants in the event and was followed immediately with a warm welcome buffet of food. As usual, Asus never fail to fill our belly with the best food available. Is this the part where I describe how good the food was? Nah! description of food is too weak for readers to drool, so here’s some snaps that I took with the buffet presentation of the event.
After the meal was the main event, Mr. Eason De Guzman, Digital Marketing Head and Lead Trainer of ASUS Philippines gave his welcoming speech to the entire Zenfone Davao Community. Eason, iterated that Asus would want to extend more closer to their loyal supporters and local community thus having set quarterly visits on different areas of the country. Eason further stressed that the Asus Zenfone means “Zen” or “balance”, in terms of specs to price, durability to size and overall aspect of the phone. After Eason was Nikko for the tech tips and tricks for Zenfone users. Nikko helped answer some of the user community’s questions. Nikko and Eason then started giving out Zenfone Selfies and a Zenny Doll to participative members of the community. Eason also shared that the Zenfone Selfie and Zenny Doll are both official ASUS Products and the Zenny Doll is actually limited to 500 pieces for the entire Philippines.
Photo opts with some Zenny cut-out standees, Asus Zenfone units and Zenny Dolls were all over the venue, as Eason announced an Instagram contest for top 7 participants with the coolest photo post. Surely all participants were game as they posed using “pabebe wave” pose, mimic Zenny standee pose and almost all kind of poses that you can ever think of. In the end, there were only 7 winners for the Instagram post contest.

Clearly everyone had a good time and as a conclusion to the event, everyone was given their “I AM INCREDIBLE” shirts, gathered in the center of the venue and had a selfie for good. Asus, you don’t just create and sell your products, you make sure that everyone is well taken cared of. Hats off to you ASUS! I wish the community to stay happy and comfy. Just before the closing credits, I would like to share my special moment with you guys. It all started with a simple introduction of myself to Mr. Eason De Guzman of ASUS Philippines last July during the Pixel Master Party. Zenfestival marks my second event with the community and with that I was one of the five (5) lucky participants who was part of their program to test out the new ASUS Zenfone2 Laser. It’s hard to hide your excitement when you hear something like this, thank you ASUS, thank you Eason, Adrian, Nikko and Josef of Davao Geek Hub.
