Asus ROG Philippines and Nvidia collaborated to bring the VR Experience to the #MCE2016 (Mindanao Cyber Expo 2016). The first one in Southeast Asia outside the COMPUTEX of Taiwan. Yes, you read that correctly. As informed by Mr. Robert Osorio of Asus ROG Philippines.
Davao is so blessed to have this experience brought by Asus ROG and Nvidia and I was so lucky to have a first-hand VR Experience. Thrilled to be entertained by Asus ROG staff and finally got introduced to the system running the VR application. Then the fun begins!
I got myself into the Nvidia VR Fun House, for those who doesn’t have a clue picture a carnival in your head. They then hand you the controllers, which you can see as a pair of Mickey Mouse paws. The controllers are so mysterious to me as I can’t imagine how they make me feel as if it’s the real thing. The VR Experience tours you around the Fun House which gives a deeper experience about how good this technology is. They have different games that you have to test out and things like liquid inside the VR Experience feels so realistic. Fur or hair seems to feel like the real thing too. So much of a good thing for a few minutes of experience, making me feel to just stay within the VR Fun House. I wish you have the chance to try it out because this thing is really awesome.
