Avatar: Fire and Ash experience in IMAX just in time for the Christmas season’s climax. Avatar has just gotten better as IMAX brings a whole new immersive experience in the world made by the beautiful mind of James Cameron. The film was such an eye-candy, James’ imagination shared visually, heard and felt. Yes, the film wasn’t just a showcase of visual effects and choreographed fight scenes, it touched deeper with the viewers emotions through the family tension within the Sully family and Spider’s father and son sequences.
The story introduces the Ash people, a fierce and aggressive Na’vi tribe led by the ruthless Varang. Unlike the previous clans in the story, this tribe is war-hardened and views fire as a force for both destruction and renewal.
The favorite scene was probably when Jake and Quaritch were fighting and Spider was thrown off the cliff, Quaritch leaped to save Spider – his son from falling into the flames below. Quaritch made his last act as a sign of love to his son. The scene pulls strings from the viewers hearts, touching their emotions and possibly bringing them to tears.
Watched Avatar: Fire and Ash together with some Davao Bloggers Society members in SM Lanang Premier IMAX. This was such a great a film, we certainly hope you watch it at a cinema near you.
