PLDT SME Nation introduces the Smart Digital Campus to the media partners in Davao City. The Smart Digital Campus is specifically built for educational institutions in which they partnered with Vibal, one of the country’s leading publishing company and Nspire as the system developer.
The Smart Digital Campus has three (3) main features which is highly integrated into the school’s system during implementation. The features are Smart Gatekeeper, Smart Tracker and Smart E-Learning.
The Smart Gatekeeper
is focus more on the security of the parents. Using an RFID as an identification card for the students. Main function is automated attendance for teacher and one of it’s capabilities is sending a text message to the parent / guardian whenever the student has arrived and left the school premises.
The Smart Tracker
is aimed at securing the student transport system. Using a GPS tracking system to enable schools to monitor their school buses’ location in real-time to increase operational efficiency and ensure student security.
The Smart E-Learning
is a solution for the school’s academic performance. An integrated Learning Management System (LMS) that makes teachers and students more engaged in learning by digitizing all materials used for teaching such as books, lesson plans, grade books, class cards, notes, etc.
